Under construction
The property is currently under renovation, which ads minor complications to the stay. The Wi-Fi was down most of my stay. The staff was really pleasant and helpful despite the disruption of the renovation.

We needed a cheap hotel near the Oshawa Go station so we could take an early morning train downtown to a medical appt. Hotel location was very close to Go station. It was undergoing renovations and almost empty. The heat in the room came on with a loud fan every 15 minutes all night. Trains came through the area constantly, waking us. Blackout curtain wouldn’t shut completely, so room was too bright. No coffee maker in room. Otherwise, staff was nice, room was clean and it was inexpensive. Probably wouldn’t stay here again, didn’t sleep a wink with the noise and brightness

Will not return
After multiple attempts to try and cancel the Friday reservation, the hotel employees, and manager refused to refund us one of the evenings after we called over a week before.
We lost money for the Friday
The room itself was very dirty. We have photos of the sheets, being stained and hair in the corners of the bathroom. Overall, the cleanliness was very filthy.
We will not stay there again.

Great Stay
Great value for the money. They were doing renovations while I was staying there in one wing of the hallway, but the completed reno's did look very nice. My only main complaint is that there's no elevator, but other than that - great hotel!

KICKED OUT OF ROOMS DUE TO RENOVATIONS!!!
Our business trip saw us be asked to leave the hotel in the middle of the stay on 15 minutes notice due to "renovations" - the stay was booked 4 days before so the hotel knew of the renovations on the floor. We moved two people to new rooms while one person was moved to the Best Western next door. ZERO compensation was offered. ZERO returned phone call from the manager. This is BRUTAL EXPERIENCE. There should be refunds on the rooms but i'm not holding my breath.

BED BUGS and apparently this property is being changed over to a Hilton … honestly goal they get new management as the current person in charge is not the right fit for that role
I’ve read several reviews regarding the outbreak of bed bugs and unfortunately I had a room with a some on October 1st and the hotel didn’t even apologize or follow back up
I booked through Expedia I even had them follow up with the hotel and management never even got back to us or awknowleged the issue
I called again today to speak to management and was to stop talking and call back when management was in

To communicate with guests.
Im hoping they take the proper steps to cleaning these rooms as I go through the handful of reviews I see this problem as gone off for the last two weeks and it’s needs to be rectified. Thanks for denying my refund due to your inability to addressing the bed bug infestation … with health department being aware of the issue - I hope the manager will have this under control and maybe consider that doesn’t require any sort of customer service.

Avoid
Entire property under construction, including right outside the room. Serious construction that had equipment running all day.
Asked for a 30 minute extension after a two day trip and was actually removed from my room 4 minutes before checkout time.
Staff was rude, and inconsiderate.
Never again.
