We had a lovely stay at the Mercure Seafront hotel in Brighton. The hotel itself was lovely & in a great location. The breakfast was great too. The only slight downside was the shower wasn't the best, not very powerful. Would stay here again though, regardless.

Following a terrible night in another hotel in Brighton , I booked into the Mercure at the last minute for two nights. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming from the start. The lobby feels warm and luxurious and smells lovely. When I got to my room, I realised that outside the window there was a large extractor fan making a noise that I knew would keep me awake through the night so I returned to reception and explained this. They quickly and courteously moved my room with no fuss’s. This stay was a complete contrast for the previous hotel recommended

Mecure Brighton - Old school charm right on the seafront. Lovley welcoming staff. Clean and spacious room. Great choice for breakfast.
Travelled for the London Brighton Bike Ride.

Room was cold on arrival, bed was hard, shower cold so not the greatest. Staff were very helpful though and gave us a mattress topper and noted shower problem. Heating worked after a while. Just didn’t feel it was great for the price. Lovely staff though.
