8/10 Very good

Rooms were very well appointed but like most hotels there is a little mold issue in the shower. The only other issue was the duvet, while cuddly warm did not breath well so a little sweaty. Overall still a 9 out of 10. I tend to be a little critical as I outfit 5 star hotels.

Beautiful and clean. The pool was a little small, but it did the trick. Gym facility is very nice. We were surprised by the people who hung around outside the hotel and in the parking lot. We only went outside in groups as we did not feel safe.

Was a bit concerned at first because they had over booked and when I checked in with 3 kids there wasn’t a room available for us but the gentleman who checked us in worked his magic and was able to find us a king size bed for the same prize and we all fit in the bed perfectly The staff was amazing and the room very clean and comfortable The heated pool was a bonus also Will definitely be back

10/10 Exceptional

Hotel is great, staff were great (especially front desk staff, Tina). However, I was very disappointed that hotel has added a cash grab on parking. Never had to pay parking here before and my husband met us at the hotel, so we had two cars. Ended up having to pay $30 for parking (when I’ve never had to pay any other time I’ve stayed here). When they have a huge, massive parking lot which never comes close to being at capacity (even during March break), this is just an underhanded way to add $30 to hotel cost. This will definitely make me reconsider booking here again (I typically stay here rather than Halifax, as having to pay for parking was always a factor)

Absolutely Never Again
When we checked in there were police cars with the police patrolling around the outside and inside of the hotel. People were a little way from the entrance smoking weed. No matter what time of day or night ppl were getting high which I personally don’t care but we had to walk our four grandchildren past them as they tried to engage with the children. There were 8 or 9 ppl sitting in the hallway on our floor playing on their phones and drinking. The shower and fridge were filthy. Despite having an email stating that if we paid with a visa debit we would be charged a “ breakage fee” of 50$ a night they charged us 250$ a night. They couldn’t care less what my confirmation email guaranteed me. Our room was so small I tried to upgrade by paying the difference to a larger room but became I booked through hotels. Com they wouldn’t even look at it. And Hotels.com did nothing to help although larger rooms were available and again I wanted to pay the difference in price. The hotel provided us with three additional chairs that’s the only good thing I can say. Despite the fact we chose to stay in a Hilton even though we booked through a third party we don’t get our Hilton Honors points or credit for our stays. We had gift certificates for hotels.com which is the only reason we even booked through them so you’re penalized for using them. This hotel is a dump and definitely not worth 200$ a night during the off season. I have tons more to say but not enough room.

My husband went down to the front desk to ask for a spoon and the staff tried to charge us for it!! Saying we had to eat in the restaurant. After paying $250/night and then paying for parking every night this was incredibly disappointing. We won’t be staying here again.
