Blue Orchids Barbados
The hotel is very good with a great pool area with plenty of beds, chairs and shade. It is right on the beach although getting in and out of the sea can be challenging depending on the weather. The sister hotel, Coral Mist, has a bar and restaurant for both hotels, however, it quite often closed at 4 pm when it is advertised to close at 8:30 pm. The staff at the hotel were very good and friendly. There are very good bars and restaurants close by.

Peaceful and friendly hotel

Two Days after a Cruise
This is a nice little hotel on a beautiful beach. The garden area is wonderful. There is a small kitchen in the room which is a nice plus. The staff are very friendly, allowing us to check-in early and they found us a taxi to the airport for an early morning departure. The restaurant for breakfast is OK, but not cheap (no refills on regular coffee which was unusual). The hotel is not new and feels a little tired. However, if you can get a reasonable price, it’s not a bad place to stay. We would stay there again.

Fantastic! Stayed 3 nights & loved it here. Location is stunning, right next to the most wonderful silver sand Worthing beach which was quiet & peaceful. The pool area overlooks the Caribbean Sea & the sunsets were stunning, reminding me of Key West. Everything is so convenient, within walking distance you have bars, restaurants, fast food & a supermarket just a few minutes away. There is also a lovely street food plaza where we had some amazing Bajan food. It’s just a few minutes walk to more awesome beaches & the popular St Lawrence Gap. We came straight from the airport which was arranged by the hotel & was perfect. Great location & everyone was so friendly. We stayed in room 109 with great sea views & literally walked off our veranda into the pool. Loved our short stay here & recommend. Thank you to everyone at Blue Orchid for a memorable & relaxing stay in Barbados.
