Upon check in it was apparent it was under new management/ownership, the changes are still in process but did not impede on my stay. The room was delightful, spacious, clean and exactly what was described. Staff were helpful, cheerful and a pleasure. Our room and bathroom were both clean and spacious. The bed was clean and comfortable . The bar area was a bit dark and shabby. Large stains on the carpet in garden restaurant. There was a lot of dust in the common areas. Food was a long time coming at breakfast (30-40 minutes) and it was average. The staff were all lovely and very helpful and friendly.

We were warmly welcomed, and even though we had arrived just as they were preparing to close the restaurant, they kept a table for us, and as it happens, some other latecomers. The food was freshly prepared, and worth the wait. In the morning the courtesy continued, attentive without being overbearing. Setting was good too. Highly recommended.
