Great hotel, great price and lovely breakfast
Struggle to fault it, especially for the price paid and i stay away for work every week so im hard to please. Room was basic but warm and comfortable, as was the bed
Plugs by the bed, hairdryer on the wall by a mirror, tv and its remote worked and free wifi that actually worked.
Breakfast was very good, full english cooked fresh to order with lots of side options. Parking was free.
Rating wise, again for what i paid would be a 9.5 out of 10 and would definitely stay there again.

Conference stay
Used this as a base whilst at a conference. Served its purpose with adequate hot water, shower, clean and functional. Just be aware we stayed 2 nights, I added on an extra night at the beginning of our stay due to the weather. Our original booking was 1 night B and B. We got up for breakfast on our first morning and on reaching reception was told we hadn't booked breakfast, it was with our booking for the following morning. We asked if we could just swap and have a breakfast this morning instead and was told no but we can buy one. Does it really make a difference which day I eat my paid for food?

Excellent service but very poor hotel
The service from the staff was excellent but they are let down by the state of the hotel.
Sat on the bed and nearly went through the was as it was on wheels, seat top not connected to legs so moved all over the place, then to top it all, the hair dryer exploded.
Breakfast was poor but it’s not surprising as it was left to one poor girl running about doing everything

Won't be back
Parking is not free at all (£12), and you are charged tax on arrival. Pretty grim conditions. Perfect choice if you want to experience the closest thing to a refugee camp. Won't be back

Unhappy
Staff was rude. Paying for parking a pain due to app and website are rubbish. Bed small and uncomfortable. Pillows flat as a pancake.
