My first Ibis, probably not the last. It was clean and comfortable and the hot breakfast option was good. Centrally located so it was probably noisy on the side facing Botchergate but they do provide complementary earplugs, my room overlooked a private car park so the earplugs were not required but were used at the Blues Festival.

Nice hotel only just over 5 mins walk from the Railway station. And about 10mins walk from the Festival. I went to Carlisle Blues Rhythm and Rock put on by Solid Entertainments. The best music promoter in the UK. The Room was nice with one of them all in one bathrooms in them which I like. Shower was easy to work. Bed was clean. Wooden floor. Breakfast was pretty good. All hot food had lids on them so warmer than the terrible infa red lights at some other places where it is always cold. Staff nice. Easy check in. And Hotel handy for City centre and Castle. Town was clean. People very nice.

Rooms were good, clean and big enough for a budget hotel. Hotel lobby is a little dated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not have breakfast because we needed to leave early, so cannot comment on its quality.

Right in the centre of Carlisle close to station, carpark right behind hotel with direct entrance to hotel. Room simple but clean and sound proof considering we were near the bars. Comfy bed and there’s a Kettle and hair dryer in room. Pool table and table football game in lobby nice bar area Staff friendly would stay again

Needing some TLC and DIY. Bedside shelf barely hanging on the wall in the room and not been cleaned (still sticky marks from last occupier). But well placed hotel for city centre. And if you like a cheap Wetherspoons' breakfast there are two on the opposite side of the road. If parking in the car park to the rear, remember to register you car with the hotel when you arrive so you don't have to pay for parking.
