We were fine with the hotel initially, however on our second day of a four-day stay we were asked to immediately vacate both of our rooms because of a 'maintenance issue' that they wouldn't elaborate on. They told us they would put us up in a 'better' hotel but the hotel they offered was actually one less star with terrible reviews, so definitely a downgrade. We said no to paying the same price for a downgraded hotel, so they said they would give us a refund but we were on our own to find a new hotel for the rest of our trip. Having to find a new hotel for our entire family in New York city with absolutely no notice only one day into our vacation was pretty terrible. I still haven't received a refund, but they said it has been issued.
