Enjoyable Stay - Clean & Comfortable
Was delayed due to a ferry cancellation and they had last minute availability for myself. Despite the front of the hotel from the main road looking tired was extremely surprised when going in the hotel entrance rather than the bar; it was large, expansive extremely clean and really reasonable priced. The room was spotless and the staff pleasant and attentive. Can’t fault it, disappointed that I had to leave early and miss the buffet breakfast which was a £9 additional Charge on the rate so was on.

Would stay again.
I chose the town of Broadford as my home base for exploring the Isle of Skye. The parking lot at the Dunollie hotel is small and fills up quickly, so if you’re not there early you’ll have to park in a car park 2 blocks away. Both the front staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s no elevator at this property, so if your room isn’t on the main floor, that means that you’ll be hauling your luggage up a couple flights of stairs. The room keys are actual physical keys, so you’ll need to remember to lock your door when you leave. Local channels only on the TV, which wasn’t a big deal for me since I didn’t spend too much time in my room anyways. Only complaint I had was that the shower only had a small panel of glass that the only covered about 1/3 of the tub with no curtain, so I had to put down towels to prevent the bathroom floor from getting too wet. On site restaurant served you typical Scottish breakfast fare for breakfast, but had a nice variety of options for dinner. Hotel was also next door to an CoOp, which was convenient for picking up picnic items for the day. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Meh but doable
Decent for what It was but not for the price. The parking situation is horrible. The breakfast buffet was a highlight. The dinner menu was actually very tasty. Staff was very friendly but it is very outdated and the rooms are tight

Gorgeous views from the room and dining room. Could hear the waves lapping on the shore all night long with a cool breeze coming in off the harbor. Front desk staff could care less about anything, it restaurant and bar staff were amazing. Parking is very limited but we managed.

No parking for people in cars. About 15 cars were parked and three coaches. Staff did not tell us where else we could park We finally parked at the local co op food store. There was no elevator and lots of stairs to climb. No one helped to carry luggage. I am 81 years old and fairly fit but even so no one even asked if I needed help

Overall the hotel was great but if you are driving the parking situation is not the greatest. There is space for 15 cars at the bottom of a ramp beside the hotel. There are no lifts here so if you are challenged with stairs and carrying luggage opt for a room on the 1st floor

We recently stayed during our visit to Isle of Skye. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Linens and bedding clean and comfortable. There are no elevators so prepared to carry your luggage. Other issue was the room would get very humid when taking a shower. Stronger ventilation is needed. ,We found a fan and opened the window. That helped

Ok hotel but very much a coach tours stop-off hotel. Room was fine, we had a view of the harbour. Bathroom had been refurbed so in good order - great shower. Lovely view at the back of the hotel but only accessible via the dining room. Close to a coop, petrol and market square, otherwise you need a car to get around. Good choices for breakfast - great coffee!
