It is 25 miles south of Historic Downtown Flagstaff and Northern Arizona University, just 50 minutes to the Snow-Bowl Ski Resort, 50-minute drive to Williams, Arizona and the Polar Express, 45 minutes down one of the most scenic drives through Oak Creek Canyon to the grandeur of the Sedona Red Rocks and only a 1.75-hour drive to the South Rim Entrance of Grand Canyon National Park!
A long gravel driveway off the main road in Mund’s Park leads you to the magnificent BearLand Lodge. Just follow the bears!
A small, covered porch overlooks the long driveway. The front door to the home opens into the spacious living room. High wooden ceilings assist in creating an open, airy feeling to the living room. Two incredibly comfortable couches surround a stunning gas fireplace set in stone. On the mantle is a large, flat screen smart TV.
A beautiful barn door leads to a second sitting room, which boasts incredible views of the backyard and offers comfortable seating around a wood burning stove.
Accessible from your left as you walk in is the gorgeous dining area with a beautiful wooden table and chair set for 6 nestled under an Edison-bulb chandelier. A sink and meal preparation space can be found just behind the dining table and holds a classic coffee machine, jaw-dropping granite countertops, and dark cabinetry. These beautiful counters and cabinetry extend in to the incredible kitchen, which comes complete with stainless steel appliances, luxurious tile backsplash, flat top burners, and a bar with seating for 6. The home has Sonos Audio throughout the home, for listening to your favorite music.
Behind the kitchen is a second wood burning stove and the first of several bedrooms. This room holds a queen-sized bed, dresser, and walk-in closet. A private door to the backyard and beautiful views of the pines makes this a peaceful, private space.
A full bathroom is just to the left of this bedroom and holds a single vanity and walk-in stone, tile, and glass shower.
The stairs immediately adjacent to this bathroom lead to the loft area and the pool table/ping pong table combo! Two long benches rest under the table to allow seating. A fun catwalk behind the game table leads to a kid’s hideaway with two twin trundle beds, capable of sleeping 4.
To the right of the living room is a hallway that leads to the remaining bedrooms and bathrooms. To your right is a large closet filled with games for your entertainment. To your left you’ll find the first bedroom, which holds a twin trundle bed, two closets, a dresser, and a flat screen smart TV. Past that is the second full bathroom, continuing with the stunning granite counters and dark cabinets. A single vanity is nestled in the granite and a spacious glass shower stands nearby. Past the bathroom is the second twin trundle bedroom with two closets. The laundry room can be found on your right as you move down the hallway.
The final bedroom can be found at the end of the hallway. The doorway opens to a high-ceilinged, stunning master bedroom. A king bed rests on the right side and faces a large dresser with a flat screen smart TV. A gas fireplace inlayed in stone sits in the corner of the room. On the far end lies a designated workspace with two monitors, a spacious walk-in closet, and a lounge chair. The attached bathroom boasts two vanities nestled in granite, a free-standing jetted bathtub, and a massive walk-in glass shower.
To top everything off, this incredible retreat offers access to the backyard from the queen bedroom and two separate doors in the sitting room. All throughout the property you’ll find a menagerie of bears. The wooden ones that you see have been hand carved by the famous ‘Bear Guy’, a local to Flagstaff. Even a real black bear rests in the sitting room! Please note that while he is lovely to see, he is not to be touched or disturbed in any way.
Pets are considered, however we asked that you keep "4 on the floor" as we say in our house. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Also, please pick up after them outside. We usually allow one small to medium size dog. No vicious breeds. Please contact us if you would like to bring your furry friend. There is a fee of $75 per pet.

We supply freshly cleaned linens, bedding, and towels for all our guests. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish, dishwasher, and hand soap.
We also supply shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Although often there may be a variety of condiments, coffee, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available.
There are cameras on the exterior of the property.
There is a minimum age requirement of 25 years old.
No parties or events are permitted.
A rental contract must be signed and submitted, after reservation confirmation.
No smoking is permitted on the property.
