Decent hotel in a good location close to Albert Dock and not too far from bus station. Also very walkable to city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful and rooms clean if a little basic with basic amenities. Remember to phone chargers with you as only one USB available in room. Also disappointing that no water provided in room and VERY expensive to purchase at the hotel @ ÂŁ3.99 for a small bottle! A Tesco Metro not to far away to purchase your own.

Warm, friendly, competent welcome from reception. We had booked a suite and certainly were not disappointed. Probably one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in with terrific views. I am sorry I did not obtain Receptionist’s name. She made my day. A big thank you to her. Room was comfortable and clean. I noticed how hard working staff in restaurant at breakfast time were. All accomplished with a smile so thank you to all. Varied choice for breakfast - excellent, in fact. The young man on reception at check out was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is positioned perfectly for The Royal Albert Dock. Open top bus stops nearby, ‘ferry cross the Mersey’ within walking distance. How can one not marvel at the sights of the magnificent city of Liverpool? Whether at the docks or further out by The Cultural Quarter, delights await around every corner. I don’t know about Merseybeat. This city has a heartbeat all of its own. It draws me back time and time again. Thank you, Liverpool
