What a lucky find The Municipal Hotel in Liverpool was. From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel welcome by everyone we encountered. The breakfast choice was fantastic and was cooked to perfection. We ate in the bar last night and that was really lovely also. Our room was comfortable and was just what we needed for our stay. We enjoyed using the winding staircase to the bar area. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

8/10 Very good

Staff were so lovely, room was a bit faded and well-used. No one answered the phone when I called for room-service breakfast. But great location and the nicest people. The bed was also extremely comfortable.

The Municipal is a truly beautiful hotel, perfectly located for exploring Liverpool and full of history and character. I especially loved the old postcards displayed in the frames, which made the building’s past feel alive and added such a personal touch. The people who work there were wonderful—warm, kind and welcoming. It is a very special place that I will always keep in my heart.
