Hotel is in a prime location for many walking distance destinations- beach, boardwalk, food, convenience items etc. Staff is pleasant, the room was clean and presented nicely with amenities. The pool, while I did not use, appeared well maintained and clean. Parking is a bit tight so consider the type of vehicle, you’re bringing. Overall, a strong YES recommendation for anyone considering booking!

Love it here!

Our family had a great time there, we njoyed our room and everyone was very friendly. My favorite art was the balcony, My only complaint is the shower in our room shot water to the back of the shower and not it the tub, but it worked fine otherwise. It was just the inconvenience of showering the kids, so water wouldn’t be flooding the floor. So they just need to adjust the shower.

The cleaning gales were over nice! The eating area coffee bar was very nice. The 2 extra TV's in the hugh lovely lobby was really nice. We did watch the news. Nice location, updated rooms

Hotel was nice, location is excellent, it’s a block off the boardwalk and has great access to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are fairly modern, have been updated recently, but there are some areas that can still use some help. The balcony lights suck!!!!! They are very bright, be nice if they had a light switch to turn them off. I would advise taking some black tape to put over them if you like it dark at night. The pool is fairly small, but we don’t really use the pool when at the beach. The parking is tight, we had a car and it fit ok, but it would be a struggle with a big SUV or truck. Overall, I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Gateway for three nights to attend the Boardwalk Rock festival in May and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are well kept, updated, and clean, and have the added benefit of a mini fridge. Staff was helpful and courteous. Free parking, though spaces are tight. Perfect location to the boardwalk and for walking to the festival, as well as for local restaurants and shops (less than five minutes to walk anywhere).
