Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Hotel
I would never stay in this neighborhood or hotel again by virtue of it's location. The best thing I can is at least we had a view of The local site called The Newton Creek Waste Water Treatment Pant known as knicknamed "The Sh*t T*ts". A UNESCO Heritage Site under the plant exists and is known for one of THE worst oil spills in America.
The tub appeared to be something that they pulled out of a junkyard, which is funny because the hotel is only 2 years old! Long waits for elevators. The breakfast buffet was putrid and the coffee was black gruel. Graffiti everywhere and I really felt unsafe in that neighborhood. I've stayed at Motel 6s that was upgrade to this place! Do yourself a favor find a Motel 6

NYC view
We wanted a place close to the subway to get into Midtown and this location was good. I was told it was 1/2 mile but it was a little more than a mile and not very walkable in the winter but we made it work. We had to ask to extra towels every day. There were 4 of us and they only left enough towels for 2 persons each morning. The breakfast room was wonderful. It was large and had a nice view. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Stay was good but had one issue
Place was good to stay at. Not to far from alot of stations to get around. Also close to alot of food places. How ever, got a room with a balcony and they said i couldnt use it due to safety issues. Then why have it up available for purchase. Makes no sense. But other than that my stay was great.

Front desk discrimination
The front desk gave me poor customer service and after I already reserved the stay I had to wait 20 mins at the front desk which lead to me missing a whole hour of my remote working meeting like I’m super disappointed like really on top of all this the heater turns on and off every 10 mins with no timer adjustments
