Great bar with good selection of drinks, only issue was the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday's. But I managed to order something in to the pub and very helpful lady provided me with a plate & cutlery.

31 May 2026This is a charming little pub in Salhouse not far from Salhouse Broads where you can have lovely walks through woodland down to the Broads.
There is a great garden center only 5 minutes away where you can have a lovely breakfast or a couple of facilities where you can eat.

12 Sept 2025Totally surprised how nice the room was in the Stag.
Room was immaculate, everything worked, cleaned and replenished with tea/coffee and biscuits, bed made and clean towels, Yes!!! Every day.
The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for us, if I wanted anything it was given and more without question.
The location was great for getting into Wroxham and for driving elsewhere.
Thank you for our lovely week to all the staff.

4 May 2025Lovely room above the main pub. The room is quite small and would benefit from some storage solutions for things like suitcases and towels. I would also say it needs some artwork on the bedrooms walls! That being said, it is very stylishly done and the pub is very nice with good food. I would certainly recommend!

22 Sept 2025The only little complaint we had was the checking in process. We were told we’d get an email telling us how to check in which we never got. Also there seemed to be a difference between the info on hotels dot com and the places own website. But other than that, the room was lovely, well equipped, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and spotless. Would definitely recommend

First impressions were not good, as entrance to rooms was through a passage that smelt of urine, and had barrels of beer to side. Then up steep stairs to new pleasant corridor to rooms.
Room was new, clean and pleasant, but lacked certain items i.e. hooks for coats etc. and places to put personal items - washbag, case, bags etc.

10 Jul 2025Lovely friendly check in. Room had no hooks in bedroom or bathroom for towels. No mirror in bedroom. Sink was so small that water splashed everywhere. Windows wouldnt stay open and when wedged open then smell of cooking oil.

4 Jul 2026Lovely location with a good selection of well kept rooms. The bathrooms are gorgeous!
Booked 3 of the 4 rooms for one night before our family holiday to the Broads and we were not disappointed. Staff were superb, rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. There's a fantastic farm shop just down the road for breakfast.
Not a bad word to say here - will be back if in the area!

8 May 2026The room was clean, and comfortable and a good shower in the En-Suite. Lack of shelves to put anything.
The way to the rooms was via where beer barrels were kept and the floor was quite sticky and a little smelly.
The room itself and location was fine for the one night stay we had and a reasonable price.
