Moxy Plymouth
"Clean room, comfortable bed for a short stay"
Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa
"Fantastic place highly recommend"
New Continental Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western
"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. This time we booked a family room with a bed settee, which was situated on the Plymouth Pavillions side of the hotel, which was a lot quieter than the road at the front of the hotel (we don’t have a main road where we live, so not used to the traffic noise) . It was nice to have air conditioning in our room this time, although the unit could have done with a service, to make it more efficient. Staff were cheerful and helpful as ever, and even managed to get us an early check in. We will be back :)"
ibis Plymouth
"Friendly staff and nice clean room"
A Home From Home 2
"Kathleen is an amazing host , a very lovely place to stay would recommend 100% and would stay again"
Crowne Plaza Plymouth by IHG
"good"
Imperial Plymouth
"We flew in late to Bristol airport and notified the hotel via telephone that we were destined to be too late for check in. Rachael arranged for our key to be left for us which really made our arrival pretty relaxing, all things considered. Breakfast was grand, the location is very central and the showers were great."
Copthorne Hotel Plymouth
"Very nice clean hotel, however the rooms are a bit dated and there is no air con in the bedrooms so I had a very hot night as the one window only opened around 100mm!"
St Elizabeth's House
"Nice hotel, friendly staff."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Plymouth
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Plymouth is during January, February, and November, when hotel prices tend to be lower. To fully appreciate the city's rich history and culture, it's recommended to stay for at least 2 to 3 days. This budget-friendly duration allows you to explore key landmarks such as the stunning cathedral, historical monuments, and the picturesque marina. You might also enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the local boating scene and the natural beauty of nearby forests, making it a great value for money trip for anyone keen on history and culture.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Plymouth, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you could stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart ShoppingOpens in a new window feature on the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best options. With these tools, you'll be well-equipped to plan your spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you find a more affordable stay in a Plymouth hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it happens to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might offer a more cost-effective option.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive; however, with Plymouth’s excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
