We absolutely loved our stay at the Royston. We both opted in for the 3 course dinner and the food was excellent. Worth staying in a wet Welsh evening. We really appreciated how as a dog friendly establishment they cater for our dog. Treats in a room and lots of fuss. Lovely small touches like fresh homemade cookies in the room , great full cooked fry up in the morning. Great sized room , with en suite .

We stayed at The Royston for 1 night - I wish it had been a week. Huge rooms, beautifully styled, super clean and with everything that you need to feel at home. Comfortable bed, huge shower and amazing artwork. Relaxing armchairs in our room with amazing views of the rolling hills and valley at the front of the house, perfect for switching off with a glass of wine. Bruce and Kelly are the most generous and hospitable hosts, and went above and beyond for us - I forgot some dresses in the wardrobe when we checked out - a potential disaster as they were for a dinner that night and I hadn’t realised I had left them. Bruce and Kelly phoned me to let me know, then drove them over to the restaurant 40 mins away so we wouldn’t be late for our dinner. Not to mention the delicious cooked breakfast, the tastiest homemade cookies in our rooms, fantastic wine and drinks selection in the honesty bar, and recommendations for places to eat, walk and visit. Would give 10 stars if we could.
