Attentive welcome from the owner and lots of nice touches, such as the gifting of a delicious homemade chocolate dessert on our final night. Makes a pleasant change from overly commercialised and formulaic hotels, where you are just part of a pipeline of guests - this feels more like staying with family or friends. Highly recommended

This is an excellent Hotel right in the centre of the historic medieval town of Mirepoix. The building is extremely old and consequently has its own character. The superior room we stayed in was extremely well finished. The breakfast was also good. There is no elevator but we were helped with the baggage.
Market day is Monday morning, which is special. We really enjoyed our 2 days stay,

We really appreciated the large Super King bed, cooking facilities and nice bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and Annie went out of her way to deliver this early for us. I had a very good stay here. My room was very comfortable and clean with good air-con. The hotel has a nice garden with a small swimming pool, perfect on a hot afternoon. I had 2 dinners - both excellent and good value. I did however think the breakfast was rather disappointing, would have been nice to have more choice and fresh jams etc, rather than plastic pots.

The hotel was very good and I enjoyed my stay. The only drawback is that it's about 2km from the town centre and at least part of the walk is along a very busy main road, so a car is desirable.

We thoroughly enjoyed are stay! The pool and AC were a welcome relief from the heat. The hosts were excellent and we loved hearing about the work they’ve done to the house and the history of the delicious cassoulet they served up in the evening. I wish we’d stayed for longer.
