Very impressed from check in to food and drinks to check out. Service was exceptional. I imagine they spent a lot of effort with their staff. Everyone was helpful, warm, and happy as well as always went an extra mile. Place is quite cool, modern, and trendy but certainly quite different to the traditional Barbados. Excellent food as well.

Fantastic room with beautiful sea and pool view.
Pros:
* Excellent pool
* No "towel mafia", always free sun beds around the pool
* Great fitness center
* Nice location with a lot of cafes, restaurants, bars nearby
Cons:
* No kettle in the room. As a tea drinker, I was told to use the Nespresso machine without a capsule in. This gives you lukewarm tea water with a hint of coffee taste. Not good!
* A lot of the staff was not friendly or welcoming.
* If you want buffet breakfast, it costs you 44 USD per person. Much better to go at nearby breakfast cafes and eat for a fraction of the price

could not check in when arrived at 4.30pm. Once in room there was construction dust in multiple places. Then I showered and it flooded the bathroom. Reported the next morning. Maintenance to come. Followed up 2 hours later. Told to pack up and they would move me. Then took at least 3.5 hours until I got a new room.

I was impressed by this beautiful, brand-new hotel located on the south of the island. The location couldn’t be better — just a short bus ride to Carlisle Bay, close to some great restaurants, and within walking distance of Rockley Beach.
The atmosphere of the hotel is modern and elegant, but what truly sets it apart is the team. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond — special thanks to Mario, Kenny, Remario, Troy, Safiyah (the wonderful floor manager), and Chef Andy. Their friendliness and attention to detail made my stay feel personal and welcoming.
The food here is very good and I particularly loved the poolside restaurant with its pink motif — a beautiful touch right down to the design of the glassware. The "just in time" cocktails were another highlight. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of variety, from the omelette station to the bakery section, though I do wish there were an option to book breakfast for one person.
Both the ground-floor and rooftop pools are gorgeous, offering spectacular views, especially during sunset. They’re the perfect spots to unwind after a day exploring the island.
The hospitality I experienced here truly made my trip memorable. My only recommendation would be to improve the check-in process — relying less on self check-in and introducing a more streamlined reception experience would make arrivals smoother, especially during busy times. I hope I get to return one day.
