My daughter and I stayed here for one night. The location was perfect for M&S Bank Arena where we went to the Rod Stewart Concert. The apartment had everything we needed.

Familie på fotball ig shoppingtur.
Tungvint m innsjekking og utsjekking når du må hente nøkler ett helt annet enn der dy skal bo. Kald leilighet. Fikk ikke sentralfyringa til å funke. Dårlig renhold . Spesielt vinduskarmer og møblene på stua. Veldig harde senger. Ble utrolig skuffet ovet dette oppholdet. Definitiv ikke noe "Penthouse" leilighet, noe det påstås å være. Dyrt og ikke verdt penga! Skal ikke hit mer!!

Location is fantastic
The most important thing about this place is the location- come out the back gate and its a 60second walk to the Liverpool wheel, its maybe 2minutes walk to the tourist buses and Albert dock. Maybe 3mins tops to get to the front of the Echo Arena. So its brilliantly placed. The rooms in the 2bed apt are a bit tight but it really isnt an issue. The bedroom curtains let in a lot of light so bring your eyemask - but that's my only concern here. Would I stay again? Absolutely. Everything is really easy when the cars parked just be!ow you (£12a night, which is fine) and so many amenities are a stones throw away.

Ideal for what we used it for. Sadly the car park caught on fire across from it and all the local people in the flats came down to watch the fire. There was a little bit of a stick saying that we shouldn't be there and they shouldn't be used for renting out.

Great Location but Run Down
Apartment looks very run down and was on first floor with fracked window and bashed in door. Not at all like the photos displayed. They offered to move us to new building but we picked this for great location so after. No WIFI.

Everything was fine until without any prior notice they sent electrician, He didn't even knock the door and entered in the apartment...made us scare to death..and stayed and disturb us for an hour.

Great hotel - Rubbish Expedia
Expedia totally messed up my order. The Expedia web site made claims that simply were not true. Luckily the Base team sorted out the confusion, and give me and my guests a later checkout as way of compensation to the totally overstated Expedia web page

Terrible, bulding needs to be demolished
On arrival at base to stay-the docks we were greeted with a door that just about locked. Whilst the room was clean there waa hardly any wardrobe space and we were not informed it was a ground floor apartment, even after numerous phone calls with staff. Furthermore it felt very odd being in a serviced apartment that was among residential apartments. The building itself needs to be demolished as it is a major eyesore and lets the Albert Dock down.

Could have been but wasn't...
Good location. That's about it. The apartment is in a residential area and closed off, and a fob is needed to enter the premises through gates. The apartment has an OK size. Unfortunatly the owners of this apartment has chosen in a way that we found too much to furnish it with what seemed to be the very cheapest of the cheapest furniture, fittings etc. The facilities are there to live 'in your own apartment', yes true enough. However, we did find it too scrappy and cheap in its presentation to fully enjoy as such. Furthermore we found the following points which we feel need mentioning, if not to prepare furture resindents, then just as much in order for the owners or the management to get a chance to do something about it: shower not working properly (no water pressure) in the ensuite bathroom. In non ensuite room a loud clicking sound would come at intervals throughout the night; I can only guess that it must be the heater behind the bed that in some way open/closes because of a thermostat. Having my sleep interrupted some 3-4 times per hour throughout the night feels like torture and ruins a great part of your day! Also the option of being able to regulate the heating - this throughout the apartment - was not possible. Then there's the small things: no salt/pepper in the kitchen ( a small portion of instant coffe, sugar and semi-dried milk was supplied), no rack for jackets/coats. And lastly - without goint into detail - MAKE SURE you hand back the key to a person!!

Great location for the Echo arena and L1. Apartment great size and clean. You have to collect keys from an office 20mis walk away though, which was a bit of a pain, other than that would definitely recommend.

Dette var absolutt en fin leilighet. Gode senger, to bad og fint kjøkken. Beliggenheten var helt grei. Var ca 10 min å gå til Albert Dock. Evt 5 pund å ta taxi fra sentrum. Stille og rolig område. Eneste som trekker ned, er at det ikke var varmvann den siste morgenen. Ekstrem kald dusj denne morgenen.

Spectacular views of the Docks
The apartment we had in this block was fantastic value for money and we couldn`t have asked for a better location for spending time at the Docks and Liverpool One. We were visiting Liverpool with our 2 teenage daughters and they loved the Penthouse views and how modern it was. If I was going to balance the feedback with any areas for improvement then the floors could have been cleaner, the coffee machine looked great but didn`t work and the outside of the building is very grubby and tired. Overall though, this is a brilliant location and a very cool apartment for the price. We would definitely return.

Perfect location, Two minutes walk to Albert Dockland and Beatles Story Museum. Comfortable and clean. My stay was perfect. Very easy to get there, no reception but really easy to get the keys on the office.

An awful experience!
Although advertised as 4 star accommodation, was clearly nowhere near that standard. The letting agents said the apartment was rated at 3 stars - this contradicted the information given on the Expedia website, which was that it was 4 star.
The agents claimed that we had been given an 'upgrade' on the basis that the apartment had been repainted. The apartment was smelly, bathroom and kitchen floor were dirty and even the handles came off the bedroom furniture. It appears that the apartment block is the subject of a local joke!
We spent four hours of our two day break desperately trying to find alternative accommodation!
