Cleanliness
Verified review

10/10 Exceptional

Room was very clean, had a washing machine and kitchen as well as a small sitting area. Great location 5 minute walk from Wawel castle and close to shopping and restaurants. A little tricky to find but well worth the stay. Apartment could have used blackout curtains as the sun comes up very early in the summer.

6/10 Good

Location was great, linens were fresh and bed was comfy with plenty of pillows. However, basic kitchen ammenities were quite sparse especially if you want to cook. Nesspresso machine provided but you'll need to bring pods if you want more than 2 cups of coffe during your stay. They are'nt easily available to purchase. There was a resident who smokes indoors so smoke drifts over often through the door and into the main part of the suite. Shower pressure slow, not enough space to store clothes, loose fixtures and dings in walls. More attention to maintenance details and better supplies would make this stay so much better.

The location was excellent. The host manager was very helpful and answered all of our concerns and questions. The property is tired, it needs some TLC and maintenance. The bathroom vanity, is water damaged and swollen. The kitchen kick clips are broken and it falls off every time you open the dishwasher. There is 1 pan and 1 pot, for cooking, the pan isn't compatible with the conduction stovetop, the other cooking utensils are basic. The shower is REALLY small, literally, like a 2 foot wide closet. Very cute, nice garden patio, just needs a refresh to make it very good.

Our stay at the apartment was very pleasant thanks to Karolina. She resolved any minor issues quickly, with a smile, and to the client's benefit. Room was very clean and quiet like sweet home. We highly recommend Apartments by Wawel Castle, especially contact with Karolina.
