Great value for a room within a 5 minute walk of the nightlife. I thought the bed was a bit firm, but I slept very well. Bathroom and shower were clean and as a large man I fit through the shower door with room to spare which is a pleasant surprise. Hot water and clean towels were great. Big window on 1st floor overlooking street, which was fun, and not noisy for me, but I do like background noise. No lift, but stairs were gently sloped so easy for a 60 year old man with dodgy knees and asthma. Clean kettle and plenty of milk packets. Small TV but close to bed so fine for the spare time I had. I would definitely stay again for business, or weekend away.

Great hotel in a great location for concert square and Liverpool nightlife. Right next to Liverpool central train station. Noise quietened about 12.30 but we were after nightlife so didn’t bother us. Staff were all lovely and hotel was clean. Bed was comfy.

No frills but clean and comfortable for a one night stay. Close to Bold Street and nightlife - so take your ear plugs! As a single female traveller, always concerned about safety. Area with Bedrooms could only be accessed using the room key card. Lock on bedroom door. En-suite bathroom- hair/body gel provided.

Staff are unreal. I lost some cash and Mike found it and posted it back to me. He went above and beyond. The receptionist was very helpful and the lady at breakfast too. Great value for money and great location too. Thanks I’ve started a couple of times and will stay again.

Really quick check in. Staff really friendly. Breakfast was great, a hotel that actually understands that sausages should have some colour on them, tomatoes should be cooked and not raw and everything piping hot when delivered. As they declare on their website, don't book if you want a quiet hotel, but if you don't mind the sound of nightlife and you want to be right in the heart of the city at a reasonable price, then the Hanover ticks these boxes.

Hotel is in a great location in the very centre of the city and its nightlife. Room was very clean with good facilities and was quiet considering it was a busy night- my sleep wasn't disturbed at all. Would definitely consider returning as the price was very reasonable for a city centre hotel.
