Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are small but nicely decorated. For the amount I paid for the room it was not living up to what I normally get living in hotels around Europe for that price. Guess Edinburgh is just that expensive. However the restaurant staff, I was either very invisible or there was too little to do that staff ignored me. I sat at a table, stood at the bar. I ended up going somewhere else to eat. Breakfast was nice, I was not missing anything. Hotel nicely located and easy to get to from the airport with the tram, only a very short walk from tram station. Calm area and you can walk every. Downside was an elevator was out of service so you had to wait more than you like to.

My only suggestion would be to provide more surface space in the tiny bathroom. Also, there was a live musician the evening we were there in the lobby/ lounge area- such an unexpected treat!
