Super location in the middle of everything. Plenty of restaurants and bars just outside hotel. Supermarket nearby. Staff friendly, but check in took way too long. You only can pay deposit in cash – not by credit card so you need to bring extra cash. The room is not sound proof so expect noise – you hear whenever someone next to you is coming home. Generally the hotel needs an update. There are five pools and enough sunbeds for all. There is a lot of partying going on so expect that both in the streets around but also in the hotel rooms. Bus to e.g. Heraklion city is just next to hotel. There is only one key per room. All in all – great location, Hotel ok but not in the best condition.

Gross! Stay away!

Stay away. We had a two night reservation and left after the first night. Very much a spring break, hostel apartment situation. While it’s close to night life… it’s not clean and it’s loud. the pictures are better than in person… they didn’t even advertise a picture of the shower and there’s a reason. Save your money and spend a little more to go somewhere else.

Sehr einfach gehaltenes Hotel, aber Preis-Leistung ist umschlagbar! Natürlich nicht das sauberste, das Bad ist schon gewöhnugsbedürftig, aber es ist 2 Minuten vom Strand entfernt und zum übernachten/arbeiten reicht es vollkommen aus!

Excellent apartment for our needs

Kassavetis is located is the real center of hersonissos. Receptionist was very kind and helpful. we stayed in this aparthotel 3 weeks. we chose it for its excellent value for money. the apartment was on the ground floor with independent entrance, equipped with fridge and electric oven and sink. cleaning is on request as often as needed. the staff paid attention to all our needs even the courtesy to print the return plane tickets. what can i add, on my next vacation in hersonissos i will definitely stay here again. thanks kassavetis

You get what you pay for

The location is central, and by virtue of being on the side street it's not too loud. The wifi is acceptable. The room is just fine. However, the air conditioner's remote control was not working, handing it to the reception desk did not result in any improvement. The temperature therefore could not be adjusted, so one had to use workarounds, such as freezing the room early to last all night. The shower is small, surrounded by a sad plastic curtain which does not prevent water splashing out and literally covering half the bathroom's floor. Could use an improvement/renovation. Finally, for inexplicable reasons, all hotels in the world that ask for a security deposit, they usually say it in advance and put the security deposit on the credit card as a hold until the visitor leaves. This hotel asked for €30 in cash as security deposit, without warning! Asking ppl to go to the ATM to check in? Unacceptable.
