Great stay in a perfect location
I had a great stay in a warm, welcoming and hospitable Hostel. It is was in a great location just round the corner from a Metro station. It was also close to all other amenities too. The rooms are spacious enough with lockers and bed curtains and a sofa. There is a Bar, Cafe and a small Gym downstairs too

Fair 4.0
Style over substance.
Arrived to find that someone else had checked into my room, so was given a smaller room with no discount. Was woken up on the first morning by house-keeping hammering on my door to tell me I should of checked out, and the second morning by them knocking despite leaving a do not disturb sign up. Bathroom in their deluxe king-suite smelled of blocked drains. That said, bed was brilliant.

Surprisingly good
Used this hotel as a one night stop over. Although it feels like a backpackers hostel ( most guests seemed in their early 20s) it was clean and really comfortable. I slept well. No noise. The hotel is really well situated and is in a safe area. The hotel bar has a lovely quirky feel to it. Only downside would be the speed of the lifts. So slow!!

Freehand Hotel
Great location and amenities all generally as anticipated. Really good choice for value proposition in city centre.

Great place to stay.
Great place but not really a hostel. No sense of community just sharing a room with a stranger. Location brilliant, staff great, bar ok but no social activities to engage solo travellers.

Poor 2.0
I will not trust again scammed me into buying this room. When I got there I found the room was not at all like the one in the picture they showed in the ad. Tiny room and shared with other people! Fortunately Freehand were able to upgrade me, but at huge expense. The room they transferred me to was at the back of the hotel. Every morning at 5.30 am there was almighty crashing and banging from what sounded like a dumper truck unloading repeatedly. Also the telephone from the car park behind the hotel rings loudly early in the morning. This is the phone for the neighbouring Hilton Garden Hotel - it rings loudly every time someone from that hotel forgets their swipe card. It rings so loudly that it will wake you up if you stay at the back of the hotel. I will never trust again. The free breakfast is help yourself service in a tiny room in the basement where you will will be lucky to get a seat. Breakfast selection disappointing given the eventual cost of the room.
