"Very nice Riad it was a beautiful place and very well kept. The host was very friendly helping and accommodating. It was very well situated. Yes it is tucked away through a small alley but its very easy to get to once you have google maps. They have a private parking that is 5 minutes walk away from the Riad. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was lovely on their beautiful terrace. The helpers were also very polite and accommodating. Would highly recommend."

"The pool was great - we spent most of our time there. Room was comfortable and staff were helpful. The breakfast always seemed a bit crowded - they could do wi the rethinking it a bit and while it was a buffet i felt it was a bit on the cheap side."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Africa
Book for the cheapest times: The most economical time to visit Africa is during May, June, and September when hotel prices are typically lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the region's significant landmarks and cultural attractions. This timeframe allows visitors to explore historical sites, cultural heritage, and stunning natural wonders, ensuring a great value for money experience. With careful planning, prices may drop during these months, making it an ideal opportunity for budget-friendly travel.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover great last-minute deals on hotels in Africa, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates close to your travel date. Additionally, enabling email alerts or push notifications could keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you seize savings opportunities. If rooms become available or prices drop, you’ll be among the first to know, ready to book your last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more economical option for your stay in an African hotel. For those interested in a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you find a more favourable rate.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities across Africa undoubtedly provides convenience and easy access to a wealth of local attractions. However, this prime location often comes at a premium, making accommodations significantly more expensive. In contrast, smaller towns and rural areas are typically more likely to be affordable, allowing travellers to enjoy their experiences without stretching their budgets. For those seeking better rates, it may be wise to consider hotels situated outside the city centre, although this could necessitate some additional travel to reach key sites. Alternatively, exploring nearby cities that offer a host of attractions can reveal budget-friendly options without compromising on the quality of your stay.
