Staff were all very lovely and we had a nice stay. The hotel itself is shabby chic and in some places could use some upgrading but I really enjoyed the dated decor mixed with the somewhat modern twist. Our bed was really really comfy, the room was warm and cosy, the shower was really old but really powerful so totally acceptable (if it ain’t broke) There was a little bit of noise as our room was at the top of the stairs and we did have some loud conversations happening during the night as if other guests forgot there was a room here! Lancaster Gate and Paddington stations near by, lots of food, little shops, coffee and pubs close by and opposite Hyde park for a stroll. The main road outside is quite loud all night but we live on a main road at home so not much of an issue! Would probably stay again!
