Staff were great.
The shower didn’t work if another room close by was using theirs.
The floorboards between rooms are very noisy.
I'd a lovely comfortable room and used the pool which was an unexpected pleasure. A superbly relaxing haven in a beautiful part of the world.
All the staff I met were fantastic too.

Lovely friendly staff
One of our employees stayed whilst working away from home, he said it was a nice hotel, the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for him. He visited a local golf course during his stay after work hours and would stay again.

Midweek stay with toddlers
A nice friendly clean hotel, stayed with my family 2 adults and 2 toddlers midweek. Kids loved the swimming pool and bunk beds in the family room, could have done with more space but we didn’t spend much time in the room. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Parking outside hotel is in short supply but there is more space at the rear and a free public car park across the road so you won’t be stuck. Blairgowrie is a nice little town with plenty of amenities.

Standards are slipping
Bedroom was a bit dated and carpet worn in areas. TERRIBLE view to back of building. Service was like something out of Fawlty Towers - brought tonic water unopened, didnt know flavour of soup of the day, came to take order without pad, once starter was nearly finished they advised main choice of nenu was not avaliable, chunky fries turned out to be skinny fries and mushy peas turned out to be garden peas, no peas on kids meal and kids pudding came with only ice cream and sauce and not with extras as advertised. Staff were lovely though. Pool and sauna great but a bit tricky getting into hot tub. I've always enjoyed my many stays at The Angus. I just felt standards were starting to slip this time.

Great two days break
The hotel was an older building but rooms were clean and reasonably modern. Breakfast was of good standard and selection. Dinner at night was busy (take advice of hotel and BOOK) but service was good despite this. Food was good and good sized portions. Staff were excellent in all areas, particularly at breakfast and in the bar. Very friendly and helpful. Location is great, right in centre of Blairgowrie. We enjoyed our two days there.
