Generally a pleasant place to stay. The location is perfect for Liverpool. Loads of places to eat nearby. Would be lovely to have a kettle with hot drinks in the room but we’d be nitpicking. Parking is nearby for £10 per 24 hours. All in all, for the price, we’d happily stay there again.

As always, the staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms have a really nice standard with comfortable beds, nice pillows and are always nice and clean. This is the first time I stayed in Wing C, there is a beautiful drawing room/library which I used to sit and read. The only negative comment I have is that the carpeted hallways in wing C have a strong smell of mold or humidity damage. This feels quite off-putting walking to and from the rooms. That smell disappears completely in the bedrooms which have hard floors.

Great budget hotel right in the center and ideally located. Because it is so central, it doesn't have its own parking lot, but they have a deal with a local car park for a reduced rate. ​The staff were very friendly and welcoming. ​Surprisingly, the rooms had air conditioning, which was fantastic during the recent heatwave. ​My only gripe is the bathroom; the glass door doesn't shut properly and doesn't offer much privacy when you are using the toilet. ​Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing affordable, central accommodation.
