Generally a pleasant place to stay. The location is perfect for Liverpool. Loads of places to eat nearby. Would be lovely to have a kettle with hot drinks in the room but we’d be nitpicking. Parking is nearby for £10 per 24 hours. All in all, for the price, we’d happily stay there again.

Did not expect too much from previous reviews, and was pleasantly surprised. The room was reasonably clean, and the bathroom was in good condition, though the hot water was a bit tepid. There was a bright light from some vent/monitor in the ceiling of 118, but someone had made a shade out of scrap paper, so that wasn't too bad. A second pillow each would be good, but all on all, for a two star hotel, it is bang in the middle of Liverpool city, the staff were nice, the goods far outway the occasional bad.

As always, the staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms have a really nice standard with comfortable beds, nice pillows and are always nice and clean. This is the first time I stayed in Wing C, there is a beautiful drawing room/library which I used to sit and read. The only negative comment I have is that the carpeted hallways in wing C have a strong smell of mold or humidity damage. This feels quite off-putting walking to and from the rooms. That smell disappears completely in the bedrooms which have hard floors.

Not one of the best stays, bathroom door was broken and banged loudly every time It was shut, only one pillow on the bed, noise from the street was loud till late. Lights in the room were broken or missing. This hotel has steps everywhere including in the middle of floors so travelling with large amounts of luggage is taxing and it has an odd layout. Ac was good and location was fantastic but lacking in amenities.

For a room only hotel I could not fault it. This hotel is ideally situated for Liverpool city centre wether you are visiting for work or pleasure. The bed was comfy, the air con was a life saver. My shower was slow draining and fixed within 10 minutes. There is plenty of nearby bars, restaurants and shops for food. Would absolutely go back again in the future.

AC was good, beds were decent and plenty of light in the room, however only one window would stay open in our room. Luggage storage should be free and would be nice if there was a toilet in the lobby. Very friendly staff however and the room was clean, very well situated and was a great price!
