First, the hotel should have put a big post on their website, warning people that the hotel is next door to a big construction site, that is so noisy that you were hardly able to have a conversation in your room or in the reception. Every day except Sundays they will work from 8am to 5 pm. We booked a superior apartment suite with two bedrooms for three people. At arrival the apartment had a total of 2 towels, NO cups, NO glasses, NO plates NO utensils or other kitchenware. After complaining, we were brought 3 of each. The aircondition in one of the bedrooms did not work. The fridge did not work and was not suitable for food. I complained and a technician came and looked at it, but could not repair. He came back the next day but could not repair. He came with a colleague the third day, but they could not repair. On day four I asked to talk to the manager, because I was annoyed. The manager was not able to talk to me, as she did not feel so good. The reception happily told me that they could move us to another room, as they were not able to fix the fridge. We accepted that, and we were moved to another apartment. This of course had no towels or kitchen stuff, so we started from scratch again. I asked for a compensation or discount, but was told that it was not possible, as my booking was made online (BS). Overall the worst hotel experience in 15 years. The construction is over by the end of 2026, but noise is the least of the hotels problems.
