good stay, clean, warm comfortable. Walking distance to castle and town centre. There is only two parking spaces for the three/four hotels along the road so be aware that you may have to pay to park in the council lot along the road.

Very good value for money for a room so close to the city centre. I didn’t find the bed very comfortable and there was some noise from other rooms. But none of this would stop me staying there again. Minor complaints really.

The place was lovely, big rooms really clean and decorated well. Service was great on arrival.

I just needed a bed to crash in after a night out in Inverness, nothing fancy. I booked a single room with en-suite bathroom, and it was great - inexpensive, warm and comfortable, and three minutes walk from town (assuming you’re ok with stairs). I parked at the Rainings Stairs car park, £2 for three hours, but it’s free from 6pm until 8 am, so my three hour maximum stay actually went from 5:15 to 10:15 the next morning. The room (on the second floor) is small, and the bathroom is tiny, but I was only using it for sleeping anyway. I didn’t have breakfast, £10 seemed a bit steep, but it’s so close to the local cafes, that’s not a problem. I’d happily stay here for a night again.

We booked rooms 1 and 4. Room 1 was spacious, clean and bright with a private spacious bathroom across the corridor. Room 4 was very small with en suite facilities that are very compact - the sink is in the bedroom itself. Bed was a little uncomfortable. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided in both rooms was a lovely touch. Continental breakfast was acceptable with a decent selection for the price paid. Cooked breakfast was unfortunately not up to standard - strange tasting eggs and sausages. Porridge was ok. Great location and parking permits provided for the main road. All in all an ok stay for the price paid but don’t expect perfection . We felt this was reflected in the price paid.

We were very happy with everything. The room was great the staff very friendly. Their breakfast room and the food and choices were excellent. The table was laid beautifully.

Room was comfortable, close to amenities. Basic. On search engine it said on the option we did that breakfast was included, it wasn't and not much choice for breakfast. We decided not to pay the extra £5 each. Had our own private bathroom not en suite, the toilet is very close to the wall so you can't sit on it properly. My husband is 6ft3 and it wasn't suitable and awkward. To expensive for room that dose not include breakfast and toilet far to close to wall.

Cosy guesthouse close to Inverness Castle and the city centre. Simple room with all necessary amenities and ensuite. Good continental breakfast and very friendly staff. Great value at short notice.

Unpretentious, cosy and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly owners. Generous, free breakfast. Good value. I highly recommend, especially for a short stay.
