OK, but probably would not stay there again.
Very small room, smallest room we had on our 3 week trip, and at over $200 it was not cheap.
Easy check-in.
Had a restaurant and bar, but not much else around it, like other restaurants.
Very poor lighting.

Great stay
We had a great stay at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The only thing I would change in the room would be to add a refrigerator. Most hotels of this size have a refrigerator in the room. The service was great and the staff very friendly.

Myvatn stopover.
Hotel room was small, a little too warm, we slept with the window open. Breakfast was good although the cappuccino machine was out of order. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Great hotel, restaurant needs more.
The only improvement I suggest is more salad and vegetables at dinner. The menu is very limited and a bit inflexible.

Northern lights, beautiful decor, friendly staff
Love love love. Can not say enough good things! Gorgeous design and great amenities in the room including an eco friendly towel drying rack (powered by hot water). They also have a list where you can write down your room and they’ll wake you up if northern lights are spotted so we got to see those. We were given a corner room with stunning views of the scenery. Absolutely amazing hotel with very kind and accommodating staff!!

Nice hotel in Myvatn
This hotel was nice and the food in the restaurant was good. They did provide a room call for the Northern Lights (which some hotels will provide and that is great when wanting to view the Northern Lights). The surrounding area around the hotel was dark enough to have an enjoyable experience if the Northern Lights are active. Additionally, some of the tour groups use the parking lot of this hotel as their meeting point for their tours. We had a tour and this made it very convenient for us.

Loved this place. We would definitely stay here again. We had a northern lights tour booked but didn’t get to see any the time we stayed there. So it was sad and disappointing. The hotel had everything we needed and more.

The rooms were a little smaller than the other locations we'd stayed. We enjoyed their hot tubs & appreciated the option to have Northern Lights phone call if they became visible during the night. We enjoyed the in room coffee & tea.

By a large margin the best hotel I stayed at in Iceland to date, very quiet and two hot tubs meant it was always easy to find one to enjoy, just off the main road as well making it easy to find
