Cannot recommend this hotel enough!
Absolutely perfect! Based in the East Side so away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket round the corner. 45 min walk to Central Station but 2 mins from the tram stop to take you there in max 15 mins. Incredibly well priced given the modern features of the hotel. Be aware that the hotel is card only, but you are able to pay when you check out - much easier! Would highly recommend and would stay here again if I ever find myself in Amsterdam again.

Very enjoyable
Cool place, good bar and the rooms were a nice size. They could do with better lighting in the bathroom.

Great location stayed in balcony room thought they where private but they are connected 4 rooms into one balcony walls are very thin could here everything from the other rooms but otherwise staff where great should put a kettle to use in room.

Not great
While the staff were very kind and helpfull the room itself was lacking a lot for the price. No kettle, no iron, 1 mug between 2 people, a sink outside of the toilet/shower area and a vivid green light in the toilet/shower area that knocked you sick when you entered. On top of this I was charged twice for my room which put my bank into a minus figure. I had no spending money for my entire time there. Im still waiting for the refund to go into my account now.

Although some are friendly, the staff overall seem not to be on the same page. Certain things told to us by some staff members apparently weren’t relayed to bar/cafe staff and even other reception staff on later shifts as we were often met with confused looks when asking for something as simple as hot water in a coffee cup. There was no iron or hairdryer available for our room (both were only accessible by borrowing from reception) and no kettle at all. The only compensation for this was ‘complimentary cups of hot water’ which by the way we were denied at the bar on the last 3 nights of our 4 night stay. Oh, and the floor is concrete. Concrete! No carpet for comfort or at least wooden flooring for a nice decor finish. Just rough concrete. The cleanliness was good though, probably one of the only good things about it (I liked the overall design and lighting of the place too). The concept of a hotel for musicians/music lovers is a good idea but I feel they need to do more on the actual living side of things to become a good all rounder.
