Room was spotless and very spacious. Bathroom modern and shower worked great. Plenty of walking routes from the hotel and a warm welcoming log fire to return to after a good days walking. Really Lovely, very short stay for us. Stay was perfect Area is serene and beautiful however just felt a little isolated and hardly any lighting on the streets making it a little unsafe when driving in the dark. Although was perfect location for the hike we wanted to join in the morning.

Food was great

Newly refurbished hotel. We stayed in a standard double which was nicely appointed . The bed however was very bouncy and the floorboards creaky. The walls are thin as I could hear the person in the next room snoring. The food was of a high standard both for dinner and breakfast. I would recommend staying but would book a twin next time
