Eyam pub stay
Stayed in the single room with a dog. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and a good size with single bed. The shower room was of a good size. The room overlooks the garden, some car parking and partial view of a road from the village. Out of season this room was lovely and quiet and suited my needs. If the pub had been busier with people sat in garden until later, then it may not have suited me personally, as much. Dining as a single person was ok but I would have liked to have been asked if I wanted anything else once I'd finished my main meal and I would have ordered another drink. Travelling on your own doesn't always make you feel comfortable enough to get up to go to the bar to get more drinks / ask for a menu. Breakfast was lovely. Check in and out was also really good and I was lucky to see the same staff member throughout my stay.

Loved this pub! Full of history, the rooms were cosy and warm but with plenty of space. Food was amazing and all the staff were very friendly and super accommodating. Definitely booking this again next time we come to the Peak District.

Excellent Service
Excellent service and helpful staff. Although we knew it was dog friendly, we do not like having dogs in the restaurant while we are eating.

Friendly & cosy; good beer dinner & breakfast
We were greeted and made welcome, found the room comfortable and clean and, even though we hadn't booked and they were busy, they had kept us a choice of early or later table booking. Good thing, too: the place was busy - and the food was excellent. So was the breakfast next day.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely including breakfast and our stay went really smoothly. I stayed here with my little girl to do some sight seeing ect. The only down fall was that the rooms are a little tired looking and its a shame there not kept quite traditional or old vintage looking to keep in with the 1600 century building. I know some things have to be modernised!....like the bathrooms are but unfortunately our bathroom was not finished in perfect condition, So, a little pricey on those notes. But, i guess thats what you pay for if you want to be right in the middle and the in heart of Eyam. All in all a great stay and i would go back and stay here again

Two night mini break, fantastic place, really friendly staff, the room we were in was perfect for us, with our rather large dog. Great Breakfast and plenty of choice for evening meals, just what you need after a day walking in the lovely countryside, the Bakewell pudding was exceptional.
