The hotel were generally unhelpful, didn’t even consider a partial refund of one of the room charges nearly a week before our stay when we advised part of our group could no longer travel due to circumstances out of our control. We would have been happy with any gesture like complementary breakfast, but the hotel insisted that we had to pay full price for the room we couldn’t use without any concessions.
We further arrived after a late flight and had requested a baby cot in advance, and when checking in were advised by the reception staff that a cot had been put in the room. However, when we got to the room, no cot was there and the room phone didn’t work, so we had to walk down to reception again with an overly tired baby to follow up on the cot. It was delivered after a wait, but without a mattress, with loose screws, super dusty (all we could do at the late hour was to wipe it with a damp towel), and a full size bed sheet instead of a fitted cot sheet, which is super unsafe for infants and kept us up worrying the whole night.
Also, the rooms are dated and walls are super thin, we were woken up by the guests in the next room talking.
