Awesome Stay!
I have an amazing time with my family here. The rooms and courtyard were well-kept. Water pressure was good. No critters. Clean sheets and towels. Erika, the General Manager, is super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. She reminded us of lobby hours (24/7) to whatever needs we had. We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Monterey.

The beds, pillows, and HVAC system were outstanding. The room was spacious and had everything you need. The parking so convenient (next to the door) for a quick checkout. Walking area if tou wanted to stretch a bit. Also Fitness room. We were veey, very happy with this hotel and will highly recommend it. Waiting for the refund on the $100 deposit, and we feel it will go through no problem.

The bathroom was infested with gnats, particularly in the shower. I told the front desk about it, they said they would send someone up, but the following day, the bathroom had more gnats than the previous day. Some towels had orange spots. The bed's fitted sheet kept coming off. The TV was small, and the picture quality was bad, until I adjusted the coaxial cable on the back. The manager offered a late 12pm checkout, but employees didn't get the memo, so they knocked on our door around 9:30am, and again at 11:30am. The 2nd time, they said we would be charged for another day if we don't leave. The vending machines had no water, and the gas station across the street was closed at 8pm, so I had to spend $3 plus tax per half liter bottle of Crystal Geyser at the restaurant next door. The chips I got from the vending machine were 3 months past it's best by date. The furniture and wood flooring were nice, the fridge was bigger than a typical hotel fridge, we had a spacious balcony, and the staff were friendly.
