This was a lovely experience with a wonderful taste of England. The breakfast that was included was wonderful. A beautiful array of fruit, danish, yogurt and other wonderful options. Well run by a friendly and interesting gentleman.

Richard was such an excellent host. Amenities were lovely and the art collection in the house alone was fun to look at. Parking was a definite challenge but I don’t think I would rent a car should I have an opportunity to come to UK again. We had a lovely stay!

Such a lovely house. Richard the host is delightful. Very welcoming, informative, funny. A fabulous host. The property is unique with such character. Very comfy beds. Wine and water on arrival. Plenty of tea coffee and milk

Our stay at this delightful bed and breakfast was very enjoyable. The room was clean and well appointed. The owner was so friendly and helpful. He served us a very nice breakfast as well! We were a bit confused about the parking and just where the villa was when we arrived. My phone took us to a slightly different place. I'd advise putting the actual address into your GPS rather than just the name. We used Uber and taxis a couple of times to get into Bath center. That was easy. And we enjoyed a nice walk into town along the canal as well. A unique and nice place to stay in Bath!

The best fellow that we have met, very warm personality. He made the place feel like a giant welcoming castle with lots of great stories to tell. It was clean and beautiful rooms with great amenities. We really recommend to stay there and hope to come back again.

Service och engagemang med elegans och humor.
Personligt och med både humor och enastående charm blev vi omhändertagna av husets ägare. Frukost serverad i matsal med vita servetter i form av franska liljan. Rekommendationer kring restauranger promenadvägar och sightseeing kom i god tid. Skall definitivt återkomma om vi tar oss an Bath igen.

Fuldstændig vidunderligt og stemningsfyldt ophold med den mest charmerende og imødekommende vært. Meget smukt og stemningsfyldt indrettet, vidunderlig spisestue, hvor den blide jazz sætter stemningen i den smukke stue og den skønne morgenmad , alt sammen krydret med sjove og charmerende anekdoter fra værtens liv. Vi elskede hvert et minut og vil helt sikkert vende tilbage.
Beliggenheden ind til centrum af Bath er en skøn gåtur langs floden og selve Byen er også en smuk oplevelse, som er svær at få nok af.

Wonderful stay at Grosvenor Villa, the host Richard was a lovely host who gave us some very helpful tips on Bath. Elegant room with tea, biscuits and free red wine. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We can really recommend staying at Grosvenor Villa, for a most memorable stay.

Wonderful stay
The Grosvenor Villa is an amazing building with a lovely garden. The Pride and Prejudice room was great, spacious, clean and we loved the extra touches (wine, bath robes). The riverside walk to the centre took about 20 minutes and through Sydney gardens.
Breakfast room was unique and the continental breakfast was delicious. The owner Richard was very helpful and friendly and told us lots of interesting facts about the area and the house.

Our stay in Bath
We had a wonderful time. We’d highly recommend.
The bed was very comfortable.
There was wine, cookies, coffee & tea in the room each day.
The room was cozily decorated. The bathroom was large, and the tub wonderful.
Richard the host was fabulous! So entertaining and charming.
The continental breakfast was sumptuous, with many choices including wonderful porridge.
We recommend staying here if you are visiting Bath.

Nicest place we have ever stayed.
This is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The owner was gracious and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the beautiful dining room just made the whole thing magical. It wasn’t just a place to stay, it was an experience. I would stay here again if we ever come back to Bath. *The only note I would say is not suitable for anyone who can ’t walk a lot of stairs*
