We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel itself is beautifully presented and very modern. The staff were helpful and pleasant.
The rooms are small but well designed to make the best use of the space.
I will definitely be back and would most definitely recommend.

The rooms are small so best to go with a partner or solo, staff are friendly and there is lots of space across the rest of the hotel to chill out. Its a shame you can't have cocktails on the roof but i think this is owned by another company

Rooms are extremely small. Bed is up against the window and major construction work happening which causes significant noise.
Breaks fast choices for vegetarians is minimal and tastes basic at best.

Stayed on the fifth floor which was LOUD. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable and the pillows are hard. Overall- not worth the price and would not come back.

Too much noisy, the bedroom are really badly isolated and the light can go through the sides of the curtains

I thought I’d found a bargain when I saw this hotel and room. However quickly realised upon checking in that the one side of the hotel is completely overlooked by a building site, which is fully illuminated each night and wakes you up nice and early with deliveries and cranes!

Second time staying at the hotel unfortunately our room was being overlooked by a construction site. Privacy in the room during the day was non existent and works started at 7am. There was no construction during our first visit a few years back. Service in the hotel is excellent.

Lovely hotel in a great location.
Rooms are snug but very cosy and they have good amenities. There’s a lovely big rainfall shower and nice sized bathroom.
Really love the decor.
We had dinner in Elephant and Castle and a drink in The Bottleboy, both very nice.
We also availed of the Soa/Pool .. again it’s a very small area but it wasn’t busy so it was nice. (Might be a different story if it’s busy)
Overall, a very nice, cosy, cool, friendly hotel and we would definitely stay here again☺️

Superbly furnished Hotel, very smart and with some lovely touches.
Just off the hustle and bustle of the city centre in a recently redeveloped part of the city, 5 mins walk to the nearest Lias stop and probably about 20mins walk to the centre.
Meal was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.

Great hotel, fantastic spa and gym facilities. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. It is slightly out of the centre, but a nice walk along the river (around 30 mins).

Location perfect for concerts for the Three Arena. Price point was good. Good for concert goers.
Beds were comfortable, staff were very welcoming.
We are in Elephant & Castle restaurant (wings and chicken burgers with nice cocktails), all good.
Rooms not fully sound proof people next door were practicing karaoke ahead of the gig. But no real issue when it mattered. Those of you reading this comment don’t panic!

Second time in The Mayson Hotel, great atmosphere from reception staff, went to the room and it wasn’t as good as it should be for a 4 star hotel!
The positives though, the food on the evening in Rayleigh’s Restaurant was superb, but the breakfast was just basic!
Feeling rather deflated and disappointed with the overall experience on my second visit! 😔
