We would use again.
Great staff at check in. Reasonable car park charge at £5 for 24 hours.
Breakfast was the usual choices, but staff again were friendly and helpful and the food was hot.
Hotel is quite new, so its smart and clean.
Bed was very comfy.
Iron and board in room. Plenty of storage.
My only negative is the glass wall and door on the bathroom. You can frost the wall but not the door- but even that gives little privacy.
We didnt use the bar or restaurant.
15 min walk to town centre and Anvil theatre.
We would use it again when visiting basingstoke

Good Stay
Overall the stay was good, was in Basingstoke for two weeks on a work trip. The limescale on the showerhead was quite bad which affected the water output was the only negative.

Excellent value for money
Loved this hotel! The staff were beyond helpful and friendly especially the reception.
Rooms lovely, breakfast had a good choice and the bar area had a great atmosphere.
It was always lively especially with having the gym and pool.
Near the railway station and shops and lots of parking.
The only negative was when we tried to ring the hotel in a bit of an emergency and no one answered for ages, we had to ring the separate health club to get help.
But otherwise would definitely go back and recommend it.

Nice hotel, good value
We stayed for 1 night. The room was comfortable, facilities were good.
We paid for an upgrade to include parking, only to find that parking is free to all guests at the weekend.
We ate in the restaurant, breakfast was good. Dinner acceptable, but not great.
We will stay there again.

I was double charged for the room and tried to work it out with a telephone call. I was told to report my card stolen and this be a fraudulent charge. I was charged for multiple breakfast, but only had one again tried to work this out on the telephone and was told you’ll have to report this as a fraudulent card charge. They were unable to help me at all, even though I went back to the desk before I checked out and they charge me for the same breakfast is again

The hotel is geared up for sport and irs gym is open to the public and its downstairs dining room is also a pub which is open to the public. Wnen we arrived the hotel had two very large tv screens playingr football and most of the area was tiered seating facing one of the screens. The other screen was in reception. Bothbwere playing at high volume and combined with a room full of young adults it made the downstairs of the hotel very noisy. Because it was so full as hotel guest we couldnt find a free table to order food or sit with a drink. Staff were uninterested when this was pointed out and their answer was "we can direct you to some nice restaurants". Having a disable person with me and having travelled nearly 300 miles its not what i wanted to hear. The bedrooms were clean but sparsely furnished with an overlarge tv with the first 12 channels tuned into sport. It had poor reception so not possible to watch anyway. To complete our stay bed was uncomfortable and breakfast cold
