I'd been to Brooklyn in the past but I really got to see it this time. Try Juinors, Angelica's pizza, Pio bagel. Stay away from Dekalb market. Over priced trash food. Walk to Brooklyn bridge and DUMBO area by the water. Board a ferry to get back.

I LIVE for Brooklyn. The only other times I've been to the city have been with parents or as a kid, so it has been SO nice to be able to come to NYC and not just sit in Manhattan/Times Square and feel the energy of something vibrant and fun!

I have lived in Brooklyn's Bed-Stuy neighborhood for six decades and feel perfectly safe. The media would have us believe that crime runs rampant in New York whereas it is actually one of the safest cities In the country.

Very surprised on how clean the city was. We felt perfectly safe walking to the Barclay's Center. Surprisingly quiet for a city. So different from the neighbor across the river.

Lots of cute walkable things to do and snacks to nibble upon. Bring your walking shoes, grab a coffee and walk over the Williamsburg Bridge in the morning.

Brooklyn is a hipster haven with still many of the rough edges. The gentrification process is happening fast with new building everywhere.

We loved brooklyn. This is the second time we have stayed there over manhattan. More of a relaxed feel and doesnt feel as rushed. Lovely neighbourhoods to explore. Loads of great food places. Dekalb market was close to us which is great.
"They’re getting a little busy and property is getting a little worn (like bathroom fixtures etc) and some more dust than usual at times because of construction but it’s nothing a good housekeeper and voicing your issues can’t fix. "
"The room was perfect for what we were looking for. The only issue we had was that the seal on the shower door was not complete and resulted in some water leaking from the bathroom towards the entrance door, but staff was quick to solve this issue when I called the front desk and we had no further issues. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, we will definitely be coming back! "
"For a family vacation to NYC we knew we weren't going to be in our room for much more than showering and sleeping.
EVEN was everything we needed it to be. It was safe and quiet and, above all, accessible. There are three subway stops within a five minute walk in various directions. No matter where we needed to go in the City, this hotel was a great starting spot.
The staff were always friendly and helpful. When I came to them in quick need for a band-aid they had exactly what we needed. And the little details like the flavored water right inside the front door were great as well.
