Room was very clean except the airfryer had been left dirty and a greaseproof liner on top to cover it. We had to give it a good clean before using. Shower mat not big enough for shower, as was very slippy. Shower mat was also grubby on top. Fridge was clean, but the icebox was frozen solid and no room for our frozen food. An ice bag was also left in there from previous. We do not expect to be having to throw away other people's things. These were silly little things that were overlooked but important. The bar/restaurant next door was amazing and staff very friendly. As were the locals. Parking plenty of room and safe. We would stay again if the small issues were dealt with.

I had thought we had booked an aparthotel as I have many food intollerances which make eating out very challenging. I had in fact booked a room. I had only seen apartment photos on offer. I had thought it cheap but it was the week after children went back to school which I thought explained that. With regards to the room it was tidy, modern and plenty of storage space and generally well presented. On the minus - no change of towels offered all 6 days. The 2'6" beds were horrible. We spent most nights feeling like we would fall out of them. It could benefit from a hanger for clothes in the shower room. Shower was lovely but very slippy so we were grateful for the rubber mat provided. We did contact 'Don' who was nice and offered to change to an apartment two days before the end of our stay but by then it would not be worth moving so we declined, we are both over 70 and humping luggage up and down stairs too much. No lift. Don also let us use a staff kitchen on the same floor to prepare food which helped. The room was over a public house so there was a bit of noise at night as they played loud music, but it did cease at closing time. The pub 'Tap and Barrel' served lovely Indian food. It was run separately from the pub and the staff were so kind and catered for my many dietary conditions. Gluten, dairy and low fodmap. Lali was especially kind, helpful and friendly. Overall we had a great holiday visiting friends at a town where I had worked and lived previously.

Lovely room! It was clean and had some great features. Only negatives where the bed wasn’t very comfortable for me personally and the pub customers outside the pub smoking and leaving where very loud, but fine after 11.30. No conditioner in the shower, But.. Tv channels fantastic and there’s a Pizza Hut, domino’s right next to the hotel. Handy for Telford. Great communication. Thanks.

The actual room was lovely.. perfectly clean Pub clientele a bit rude.. car park is in the beer garden, plenty of free parking. But the worst bit was the mattresses… truly awful… like a cheap bed sit… so bad we left early and went to a Travelodge
