The area was a great place to stay for a visit to Chester. A 15-20 min walk to the city centre. Some great restaurants round the corner. We went to Poco and Faulkner arms pub for a meal both gorgeous with fantastic friendly staff.
The hotel staff were so polite helpful and friendly. The room was small but didnt need a bigger room only a base. It was clean and modern with great facilities coffee machine, kettle,

Fabulous stay
Fabulous stay, beautiful building, excellent location next to lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. Nice walk along the canal into the centre of Chester. Breakfast was beautiful with lots to choose from and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely welcoming staff nothing was too much touble. Cleaned our room everyday. Breakfast was made fresh to order . We enjoyed our stay and would love to go again.

Very Good for a City Break
This would have been outstanding as the decor and breakfast were outstanding but the wifi would not work in the bedroom. The staff were unable to resolve this so we had to sit in reception to use the wifi. Other guests had the same problem.

Nice property, but certainly a little overpriced for this style of accommodation. Very skimpy portions for the afternoon tea and presentation was 2/5. Breakfast needs to be served earlier than 8am. People who are travelling often need to be out the door by 8am, so this is less than ideal. Staff seemed to be stretched very thin and breakfast prep took longer than it should. Room was cold with no control in room over the ambient temp. It's a long walk from the train station and cabs are very difficult to get.
