Ropewalks Hotel

Ropewalks Hotel

8/10 Good
"Can’t fault the hotel. Or the staff lovely big room great breakfast But unfortunately I didn’t look at reviews regarding the noise level. As it was right in the middle off the bars and nightclubs scene. The noise was about till 3 am Thursday and friday night. Musics and revellers Enjoying Liverpool But cannot fault the hotel whatsoever."

Adelphi Hotel

Adelphi Hotel

8/10 Good
"The hotel stay itself was fab. It’s in a fantastic location and the room was clean and comfortable, though the mattress was very soft and nearly rolled off a couple of times with the edges being even softer. No discount for the car park even though the website mentions registering the registration at the desk. Very poor communication from the hotel itself. We received a message which said ‘urgent’ and to check in online, which we’ve never had to do in the past. Worried it was a scam (because there was a fee to do so) I messaged the hotel directly - and through Hotels.com - and instead of receiving a reply, I just kept getting the same ‘urgent’ message about checking in online. This left me feeling worried then that my original booking wasn’t genuine and I stood in the check-in queue on our day of arrival half convinced the booking didn’t exist. Luckily, all was fine but the worry could easily have been avoided if only the hotel had sent a response to my messages instead of a generic automated response telling me checking in online was ‘urgent’ when, in fact, I could simply check in at the hotel as I have always done."

The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

8/10 Good
"The Municipal is a lovely hotel, communal areas are fabulous, it is in a great location and was immaculate. We booked it for my birthday due to it being the only 5 star hotel in Liverpool and thought we would give it a try, we normally stay in the Titanic hotel, however I’m not really sure why it is classed as a 5 star hotel. The Titanic hotel in Liverpool is far more superior in my view. We stayed in a Superior room in the municipal and I have to say I was disappointed, the rooms in the Titanic are by far better, they are around 3 x the size with lounge area and have a bath as well as a shower. We are unlikely to stay again at the Municipal but it may suit others more than us so don’t be put off we just prefer something different."

The Seafront Hotel by Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good
"Our room was excellent with a lovely sea view and a table and chairs in the bay window. Good, clean bathroom. Breakfast was very good. The bar is looking a bit tired and could do with some freshening up. Plants, pictures, curtains at the windows would make a big difference to the ‘ambiance’. Very comfortable bed."

Marian Resort And Spa

Marian Resort And Spa

8/10 Good
"The resort is well presented, clean and tidy. Breakfast was surprisingly good; it might be better to set it out in three sections. A toast area, hot food and cold food, so people didn't queue at the wrong place. Pool areas are lovely and clean; the cabin was nicely presented and clean. The only thing we didn't like was that we went to the sports bar for food on the first night; it was very loud, and we were told they had stopped serving food early and were closing early. It wasn't family-friendly and was like a sports bar I would expect to find in the city. "

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Rhyl

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Rhyl is during January, February, and November, when hotel rates tend to be lower. To fully appreciate the key historical and cultural landmarks, as well as the natural beauty of the area, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This allows visitors to enjoy budget-friendly activities such as exploring the local theatre, relaxing at the beach, visiting nearby monuments, and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of friendly bars and cafes. With prices potentially dropping during these months, it's a great opportunity for those travelling on a budget to experience the charm of Rhyl while ensuring great value for money.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals for hotels in Rhyl, start by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates close to your travel date. Enabling email alerts or push notifications can help you stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart ShoppingOpens in a new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, increasing your chances of finding the best hotel deals in Rhyl. With these resources, you could be among the first to know about price drops or newly available rooms for your spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more affordable option for your stay in a hotel in Rhyl. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and could represent better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. In the event that the price is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer a more budget-friendly option.
  4. Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to key attractions or city centres can provide convenience, but it often entails higher costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you wish to explore. You may also look into independent hotels situated further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
