Malibu Beach Inn
"I loved it here. I felt like they could improve on their staff for the beach. They should wash the furniture at the end of every day to make sure it’s clean for the next days people. I also think that they should make sure that they accommodate their hotel guests to sit outside for dinner on the patio and make that a priority not just people that come in for reservations the staff by the beach that helps you set up. Your furniture does not seem real organized."
Calamigos Ranch Resort & Spa
"Perfect mix of nature & high end service / amenities. We had an amazing week end at Calamigos Ranch"
The M Malibu
"I was greeted in the office and it was a quick check-in to get my room key. Staff was friendly. My room was clean. There was a small refrigerator for me to use. I setup my computer on the desk space and was able to work from my room. Plenty of daylight and you could open the windows for a breeze of fresh air. The shades were blackout so you could get a good nights rest. Great shower, spacious bathroom. The ocean view was amazing, as were the adorable hummingbirds that played in the palm trees right outside my balcony. Loved the balcony. I didn’t use the pool but it was very clean and there were plenty of lounge chairs surrounding it to use. Parking was available. Location was walkable to grocer, etc. and to public beach access— so you can see and do plenty without a car."
Malibu Country Inn
"Great location thank you!!"

Everything about my stay was beyond my expectations and I can’t wait to go back! Thank you to Nick and his team!!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Malibu
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Malibu is during January, November, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a budget-friendly trip that allows for ample exploration of Malibu’s historical landmarks and cultural sites, staying for at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. During your visit, you can enjoy the stunning coastline, hike through the scenic trails, admire the breathtaking sunsets, and even explore local wineries and cafes. This will provide a great value for money experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the area's rich history and vibrant culture while keeping costs down.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To explore last-minute deals to Malibu, begin by checking the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. You might also consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you seize any opportunities to save. The Smart ShoppingOpens in a new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re among the first to know if rooms become available or prices decrease for your preferred hotels.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you find better rates for your stay in a Malibu hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and could offer greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates that could assist you in discovering a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Malibu's superb public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less congested neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
