Excellent, would stay again
A great location for the centre of Brussels, all within walking distance. For anything further away, the metro / buses / trams are all close by. Very clean, plenty of space in the room & bathroom, friendly helpful staff and all for a greet price. I would have liked a fridge in the room, but I knew that before booking. Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

Disappointing bedroom
Very weird that they ask if you don't want your room cleaned/done before wishing you a nice stay. I am all for reducing waste, energy consumption and saving the planet, but then offer me a discount. Don't charge me the same price. Even though I did not leave the towels on the floor they were changed every day. In 2023 I think this is unacceptable and I'd say most hotels have already adopted this floor/hanged policy. The design and specs of rooms could be much better for the price. Mattresses are not good quality and there are two of them joined, on a timber plinth. The line in the middle is very uncomfortable. Consistency of these also not great. The beds were not 'fully made', just two single folded duvets on the respective single mattresses. It resembled a hostel in that way. TV is not centred to the bed (not even one of the single mattresses), and there is not a lot of room between the end of the bed and the wall where it's mounted, so you keep walking into it. TV is only in German. Can only connect to TV with Android phones, not iPhones. The clothes rail is positioned randomly, crossing over the mirror, not even centred. Reading lights by the bed are extremely bright and not the best. When asked for a new room key at reception no proof of ID or checks were required. The entrance, lobby and bar could have received more love from a design/decoration point of view. Relative to other Motel Ones this one is quite boring.

We had a great stay at Motel One. Perfect location and walkable to everything. Wonderful cafe across the street for coffee and breakfast (called Cafe Paul). Also loads of restaurant choices need by. Great staff, clean rooms and affordable. Would highly recommend.

Let me breathe a little bit
The hotel is a good area/location and also very close to the subway station (Park) and tram 92 that goes to Fort Jaco. The Hotel is 10 minutes away from Grand place of Brussels. 15 minutes away from the Royal Palace.
