Gardiner Lodge is well located, only 5mins walk from O-Connell St and Dublin Spire which makes it very walkable and a great Hotel standard B&B to stay in.
There is no parking outside the property which make drop off a challenge and there's no bar area to relax in, instead you have to make do with local pubs!

The room was small even for Dublin but clean and nice amenities. A very good shower. The staff were friendly and efficient. I always love an early check-in when arriving in Europe. Sadly that wasn’t possible, rooms “definitely not ready before 3pm” but they kept my bag. Breakfast on Sunday starts at 8am, so having an early departure I can’t comment. Overall would stay again given the value.

Gardiner in the Cellar
The place is in a slightly sketchy area especially at night. Good for walking to different locations but a little less safe later at night with our teenage girls. We were give a room in the basement. Could hear people yelling all night and the room was dark and basement window was a little unnerving. Not enough towels. Did not get that cute hotel vibe. Stayed two nights. Regretted the booking.
Breakfast was good but it was in the cellar next to our room.
We had asked for an early check in as we were arriving from our flight at 9:00 AM from the USA and never heard from the hotel. When we arrived we were told no. Very long day to stay up without a quick shower and change of cloths and wait until after 3:00 in the afternoon.

One Night In Dublin.
Very enjoyable overnight stay. Room was small which might have been problematic had I been staying longer. Good shower and very good breakfast. The hotel/room were clean and well presented.

I stayed one night at this hotel in the single room. It is a small room with a view looking directly at other buildings at the back - though this meant it was very quiet at night for sleeping. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed comfortable. The location is a 15 minute walk from Temple Bar and other sites so very conveniently located. I did not have the breakfast that was included since I wasn't sure if there was a vegan option - the reception staff were a bit vague about this and the other reviews suggest that options would have been limited. This isn't a luxury stay hotel so for the price I paid I would have expected more

Neighborhood is a bit run down and sketchy, but it seemed safe enough and the location was good for trekking Dublin Center.
