Good price, the room was clean and was checked and cleaned every day with clean towels and the condiments replenished. Nice big room and comfortable bed.

We had a great nights stay here. Please don’t be put off by some of the reviews. The room was clean and spacious. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Comfy bed and plenty of pillows! It’s a great base to explore the local area. The host was very friendly and the bar was perfect for grabbing a drink and sitting outside in the sunshine with it.
Gemma, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Lovely view in our room. The building is old but room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast is not continental but it's ok (cereals, milk, yogurt, fruit, juice...) There isnt much to do around the area so I would say it's ok for a overnight stay.
Lorena, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Stayed here one night enroute to Dublin. Checked in after 21.30 when there was no staff present. Easy enough as they left a note for us outlining the codes and to do's. Clean, spacious rooms with lake view. Breakfast can be found at the bottom of the stairs which is cereals, croissants and yogurts. 10 minutes drive from here to Holyhead ferry port. Clean roo

Suzanne, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The gentleman in charge was lovely, however it was disappointing to discover the breakfast was only cereal, pre-packed pastries and yoghurt to eat in your room, and the quality of the tea was very poor. A hotel with so much potential, but sadly fading.
Libby, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Very relaxing

Rooms only available with breakfast self service which was more than enough My room was delightful with stunning views from a corner bay window Very relaxing and comfortable stay
suzanne, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

No reception no bar no food no person old mouldy bathroom tired furnishings website pictures must be at least 20 years old
susan, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

The room was a really good size with all the amenities you need, bed was really comfortable so I got a good night's sleep, bath room spotless with a very powerful shower all in all fault less. The restaurant was closed and the bar only opened for limited hours when these are fully opened and they are to the same standard as the room I will give this A5 star rating
Clifford, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

No catering apart from limited ‘ continental’ breakfast. Hotel up for sale
Paul, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

The hotel should have texted to say it was closed and no food or bar services. Bedroom was clean and comfortable
Stephen, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Lovely friendly experience, we were made to feel very welcome. Room was spacious, beds were ok, room was a bit dated overall. Grab and go breakfast was adequate and easy to get to, with fresh milk and a microwave if needed. Bar was nice and cosy and closes at 9pm.
Lynn, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Room was fine, but property is for sale, not told there is no available food in the evening and no cooked breakfast, web site is vague about this.
Roger, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Nice comfortable hotel
Ben, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

I don't want to do it down as the room was brilliant and a really comfortable bed. The hotel is up for sale, all the staff were made redundant last October. There is no kitchen therefore no meals. The breakfast was 'grab and go', cereal, cakes, yoghurt, no option for diabetics.
Alison, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

The Anchorage Hotel, was easy to find, parking was good, room was clean, spacious and comfortable beds. There was a grass area behind accommodation which was handy to take my dog to relieve herself. There was a bar lounge in main building that was open from 4pm, unfortunately I did not make use of the bar facilities. There was no restaurant facilities during our stay and the breakfast was a help yourself area on the ground floor of the accommodation block. It was well stocked with a variety of small cereal boxes, fresh fruit bowl, individual wrapped pastries and a fridge with milk and a selection of yoghurts. If you prefer a cooked breakfast there is a small cafe behind the Spar store.
Hazel, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great hotel with friendly staff.
Aneta, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

One night in Anglesey

Easy to find with a large parking. Calm room despite in front of the main road but it's far away to be the highway. Clean and spacious room with alll amenities. Great and warm shower. Breakfast consists in a single take away buffet and a fridge with milk and juices, with very few choices, in a tiny room. So don't expect a traditionnal cooked british breakfast.
Christophe, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great spot to catch a nights sleep on your travels or stay a bit and learn about Holyhead's history.
