Perfectly situated, well designed, quiet and friendly. Our own entrance meant that we could leave and return without disturbing others. Perfect place for 2 friends. Highly recommended

Very clean. Good clothing storage, can empty cases and put aside. Very comfortable bed, slept well. Bathroom- spacious shower, shelves. Lovely buffet breakfast. Relaxing environment in breakfast room and bar. Helpful staff.

Lovely property! Wish we had better weather to be able to utilize all the amenities! We arrived 4 hours before check in and they were able to accolade us quickly. Geothermal Hot tuba were amazing! Only thing; bistro and restaurant on site are extremely expensive and not a huge selection. These are the only two food establishments for 5.6km - so plan accordingly. Standard Rooms do have a small fridge but do not have a microwave or anything to heat up food if you’re thinking of bringing your own

Great staff , family run, friendly and just really helpful. Have a car as alot cheaper than taxis and then you can always meet any trips at the bsi bus station which has free parking

Really lovely place to be. The interiors are rustic, and feel like I'm staying at a someone's house. Not a bad thing at all though! We also enjoyed being greeted by a friendly cat (the cat was the star of the show). I would LOVE to come back and stay again. The area is beautiful and this would be a lovely place to use as a base to explore from.

We stayed one night at the guesthouse, after a day around the Golden Circle. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and it was so lovely to use the hot tub and sauna after our long day of sightseeing. The staff were very helpful and I would recommend staying at this guesthouse.

Our travels to Vik was disrupted by extreme weathers and road closures. We had to book accommodation last minute. We booked Hotel Fljotshlid and was not disappointed, amazing location, great staff! The rooms were clean and warm. We even managed to see the Northern lights from our bedroom! Incredible experience.

This trip was a gift for my wife, to say she was pleased would be an understatement! Having never been to Iceland before and not really knowing a lot about the country, I used the reviews on Expedia to make my choice of where to stay. My wife and I were both very pleased with the accommodation at Frost and Fire. I opted for a superior suite, as I read the standard rooms are on the small size. Our room was very pleasant and clean, with a buautiful view of rivers and hills from the balcony....

Comfortable bed hot water and warm room. Unfortunately no access to food so travelled 15km to eat

Cosy little cottage with 360 undisturbed magnificent views. If you seek tranquility & looking to recharge, this is the place for you. Great host too, check in with no issues at all.

Excellent stay here - staff were brilliant with their communication, telling us exactly how to check-in late. Comfortable room, and opened breakfast early for us (7:20am) as we had to leave for a trip. Incredibly accommodating and welcoming place.
