    Just about value for money
Excellent location with most places walkable. Rooftop pool/terrace has 100+ sunbeds and 9ft deep pool, but can be very busy as non-residents have access (for a fee). Room was Ok but a soft bed. Also had a shower unit with plastic shower curtain (in a 4* hotel ??). Trying to avoid the plastic invariably resulted in knocking the controls; hot-cold-hot-on-off-on ! All the staff encountered were uniformly polite and helpful. The rooftop terrace balances out the average room and just about makes it value for money.

Great location - shame about the noise
Great things: easy check in, fantastic location and so easy to get to on train from the airport, bed very comfy, staff very helpful, pool area was amazing - we went on a Monday and was quiet, loads of beds and good service Negatives: prices at the pool are unnecessary and they won’t let you take water in. We were on the 8th floor and were kept awake about midnight when they put away all the loungers by the pool, woken up about 7 when they put them out and then could hear the bass and beat from the music in the pool bar. We were also woken up by a couple in the next room talking and being sick - the walls were that thin!! We had a fantastic trip and it wouldn’t put me off rebooking but maybe ask for a lower floor - we didn’t sleep well at all!

The staff especially the lifeguard are very friendly and efficient. I had booked a club room as I had stayed here previously but was disappointed to find out the club emperorador no longer exists. The breakfast as always was good and the hotel is in a very good area close to lots of bars, restaurants and museums.
